What happens when I finish the course?
After the course you may choose to work, go to TAFE or return to school. Get Set For Work will continue to give you support for a minimum of 3 months after completing the course.
Join the course part-way through a term?
You can join the course at any time but if it is late in the 10 week cycle you may be advised to wait until the next cycle begins.

If I come part-way through a cycle, do I only  finish that cycle, or can I come to the next one as well?

You can continue coming to the program. You may wish to complete 10 weeks or remain for a longer period; the choice is yours.

No --  it is an approved alternative to senior education, but will not be on your Year 10 Certificate.

What if I don’t really know what I want to do?

One of the aims of Get Set For Work is to help participants develop goals for their future direction by helping them understand their strengths. This course can help you to set a new direction for yourself.
