Will doing
'Get Set For Work' affect my Centrelink payments?

Get Set For Work
is an approved course which allows participants to continue
receiving Centrelink payments. Centrelink may require proof of
attendance. |

What happens when I
finish the course?

After the course you may
choose to work, go to TAFE or return to school.
Get Set For Work
will continue to give you support for a minimum of 3 months
after completing the course. |

Join the course
part-way
through a term?

You can join the course at any
time but if it is late in the 10 week cycle you may be advised
to wait until the next cycle begins. |

If I come part-way through a cycle,
do I only finish that cycle, or can I come to the next one as well?

You can continue coming to the
program. You may wish to complete 10 weeks or remain for a
longer period; the choice is yours. |

Does this course go towards my Year 10 Certificate? ▲

No -- it is an approved
alternative to senior education, but will not be on your Year 10
Certificate. |

What if I don’t really know what I want

is to help participants develop goals for their future
direction by helping them understand their strengths. This
course can help you to set a new direction for yourself. |
