Welcome to Bayside Adolescent Boarding Incorporated

Youth COUNSELLOR

The Youth Counsellor Program commenced at BABI in January 2007. It arose out of the need in the community for greater counselling services for young people.

The Youth Counsellor provides a counselling service to young people, aged 10 – 22 years, living in the Wynnum/Redlands area, who are in need of generalist counselling.

Issues
The Youth Counselling service offers counselling to young people covering a range of issues including: grief and loss, self-esteem, relationship issues, family issues and other issues.

Availability
The Youth Counsellor is available 1 day per week on Monday.

Fees

No Fee - Independent young people
- Health Care Card Holders
- 1st Session

Fee - Minimum Fee $20/session(approximately 1Hr)

Donations are welcomed.

All Fees are Negotiable

Referrals
Referrals to the Youth Counsellor are received from the Department of Child Safety, CYMHS, Youth Agencies, Schools, Families and Self-referral.
